Day 5

Food Entry:



Today I had a delicious banana nut bread protein shake from Healthy N' Fit on Mason Street for breakfast around 7:15am. I went with Mallory, it's kind of a tradition we try to do once a week, sometimes we don't get to, but I'm glad we did today. I really needed protein so it was a good thing we went. I really need to get more protein in my diet, I don't get enough. Along with the shake I also had some raspberry herbalife tea. It was quite thirst quenching.

Around 11:00am I had a yogurt for a little snack. From that point I didn't eat anything until 12:30, I had an herbalife protein bar, that was surprisingly really good. It tided me over for an hour or so before I had access to lunch. Then around 2pm I had a nice large entree salad from spoons. It was a farmer's market salad with blue cheese, tomatoes, carots, cucumbers, crutons and grilled chicken.

Then around 3:30pm I had a 3.9oz container of granny smith apple sauce (no sugar).
Around 5:30pm I had an omelette for dinner. It consisted of 3 egg whites, green pepper, onions, colby cheese and salsa.

Later in the evening around 7:30pm I had an orange and a South Beach Diet Protein bar.
Around 12:00am, as I was writing my paper I had 1 serving of wheat thins which is 16 crackers.

Work Out Routine:

This evening I used the eliptical for 30 minutes. I did the X-aerobics training exercise program on the eliptical which used just my arms to push and pull my body weight, just my legs to push my body weight and a combination. After the eliptical I went on the stationary bike for 30 minutes. I synthesized it so it would be like I was riding up a hill and I did intervals of high intensity as well. Afterwards I stretched. I felt really good exercising tonight and it was helpful to relieve stress especially before I attempted to write my 10 page paper that's due tomorrow.

*Note: Today was a busy day and so I didn't really eat a whole lot, at least it didn't feel like it. I think boredom has a lot to do with my eating habits and how I feel. If I'm not busy I feel hungry and will eat anything. As long as I'm always on the move, I don't get very hungry very often.
